Scope 3 Reporting
At Agilitas, we have long been committed to integrating sustainability into our IT services and supply chain.
My Carbon Journey is a cutting-edge digital report designed to help IT Channel partners and their customers understand, track, and reduce their carbon footprint, focusing particularly on Scope 3 emissions within the supply chain. This intuitive dashboard delivers actionable insights into the environmental impact of IT hardware maintenance, storage, logistics, and professional services.
The initiative is currently in a pilot phase to enable us to refine the data needed to provide our customers with a dashboard that works for them.
The Dashboard Explained
The report highlights key stats that help reduce carbon:
- Simple admin can get lost as it transfers through the supply chain. Parts shipped, engineers utilised, call data and delivery issues help identify proactive measures and prevent unnecessary journeys.
- Circular economy stats including repaired and recycled tech
- Mileage by vehicle type
These stats are then converted into their carbon impact, giving the customer their carbon footprint for their service. They can then choose to offset their carbon footprint by investing in projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere.
Our Recommendations
It is always better to reduce your carbon footprint rather than offset it, so the recommendations dashboard is a really important part of the report.
Recommendations may include:
- Returning unreturned parts for repair so they can be reused in the circular economy
- Switching to a Green SLA by moving non-critical items off 4HR SLAs to prevent the use of single device shipments
- Ensuring site access is organised ahead of engineer visits to prevent wasted journeys
