Agilitas have partnered with a leading technology platform and cloud-first solutions provider to deliver hardware maintenance services to one of the UK’s leading forecourt operators, supporting over 800 sites nationwide.

The estate, largely comprised of Fortinet equipment including switches, access points and routers. Network uptime is critical to the end user client, to ensure smooth operation of their business systems, including payment systems, customer Wi-Fi and internal communication networks.

Our MSP partner required a reliable parts and engineering partner to provide a full end-to-end solution for break-fix maintenance support and trusted Agilitas, given our extensive network, multi-vendor knowledge and expertise supporting the retail sector.

Hardware Maintenance support was required for petrol forecourts throughout the UK, from Penzance to the Scottish Highlands. With a mix of next-business day and 4 hour critical SLAs, the MSP required a logistics partner with the ability to respond quickly and ensure swift resolution of both low and high priority issues.

 

Critical network infrastructure

The Fortinet infrastructure played a pivotal role in running each site’s operations. Any downtime could lead to payment processing disruptions which negatively affect both revenue and customer experience and potentially traffic issues onto main roads. A trusted partner that could meet SLA and source the correctly skilled resource was incredibly important.

Coordinating support efficiently

With around 20 tickets a month, precise coordination of parts, engineer deployment and real-time communication, Agilitas took care of all the admin so the MSP could rest assured everything was taken care of.

Flexible SLAs

Agilitas worked in close partnership with the MSP to provide an end-to-end break fix maintenance solution, ensuring rapid response times and minimal disruption to the Fortinet equipment across the estate. With flexible SLAs, our MSP was able to combine 4-hour part to site and engineering for critical items with Next Business Day SLAs for lower priority issues. This flexibility allowed the MSP to balance urgent repairs with more routine maintenance, ensuring affordable service while still maintaining high operational uptime.
