Agilitas is delighted to announce that three of its leading female employees have been shortlisted for their work in their respective departments, in the CRN Women In Channel and Computing Women in IT Excellence Awards 2018.
Donna Simpson, Financial Director at Agilitas has been shortlisted in the ‘Unsung Hero’ category of the CRN Women in Channel Awards, and in the ‘Hero of the Year’ and ‘Role Model of the Year’ categories at the Computing Women in IT Excellence Awards,.
Furthermore, Sophie Eames, Account Manager has been shortlisted in the CRN Women in Channel Awards for Sales Employee of the Year, while Stacey Tatham, Marketing Executive, is shortlisted in the Marketing Employee of the Year category.
While all three have demonstrated how they are driving the IT channel forward, they also exemplify Agilitas’ commitment to a more diverse workplace, dismissing the stereotype that the channel is only for males. As such, over 30% of Agilitas employees are female, and this percentage continues to grow year-on-year.
Donna has been shortlisted for her role in helping Agilitas go from strength to strength, not only in the financial department, but as an integral member of the senior management team. CIMA-accredited with nearly 30 years’ experience, Donna helps to ensure that relationships with new and existing customers remain as strong as possible, leading by example and inspiring a positive work ethic within her largely female-dominated financial team of five.
In Sophie’s first three months at Agilitas, she achieved over 100% of her sales target for the period. Her tenacious approach has also resulted in a greater wallet share from her managed accounts, including improved renewal rates across customer annuity service contracts. Sophie has also gone on to win Agilitas’ internal PRIDE award – given to those that best represent Agilitas’ core values.
Stacey has had a great year at Agilitas, playing a vital role in building Agilitas’ brand profile. Stacey has been involved in a variety of lead generation projects and innovative marketing campaigns, both of which have contributed to revenues increasing by 25%.
“The whole Agilitas team is immensely proud of Donna, Sophie and Stacey for everything they have achieved. Especially how they have continued to inspire women both within Agilitas and across the IT channel as a whole. This has been demonstrated in the rising number of women choosing a career with Agilitas, as the IT channel becomes increasingly popular amongst females looking to build an exciting future. We hope that Donna, Sophie and Stacey are further recognised on what will be two great nights of honouring the women of the channel,” comments Shaun Lynn, CEO of Agilitas.
The CRN Women In Channel winners will be announced on Thursday 18th October, while those successful in the Computing Women in IT Excellence Awards will be revealed on Tuesday 27th November.
