Agilitas secures accreditation from Lenovo to become the UK and Republic of Ireland Strategic Part sales Distributor Partner for DCG.


Agilitas, the leading European innovator of customer driven inventory-as-a-service solutions, has been awarded accreditation from Lenovo to be their UK and Republic of Ireland Strategic Part sales Distributor Partner for DCG.

At the moment, Lenovo enterprise customers which include IT resellers, managed service providers and end user businesses, are required to go through IBM part sales in Amsterdam to get hold of official server and storage parts. The accreditation will see Agilitas take on this role, providing a local UK presence that will see the company ensure a quicker and more effective UK centric service.

Agilitas CEO Shaun Lynn commented: “we’re delighted to be working with Lenovo to better support their customers, and provide an efficient delivery of Lenovo parts. We’re uniquely placed in the UK market, already delivering critical IT spares to more than 8000 sites across the country. The deal will enable us to grow this presence further and better support existing Lenovo customers by reducing delivery time and increasing parts availability.”

The accreditation covers Lenovo server and storage parts, along with legacy items such as the System X range and DS storage. The partnership will also expand as Lenovo look to rebadge or release new server storage products.

The deal will also provide Agilitas with additional product lines, increasing the company’s Inventory-as-a-service capability further with higher stock levels and priority access to direct stock.
