leading IT channel services innovator Agilitas has today announced its involvement with Channelnomics European Elite Market insight and research project.

As the sponsor of the first annual European Elite report, Agilitas has aligned with the project to highlight its long established European credentials of supporting some of the European Channel’s premium IT firms. The first of its kind report aims to define and map the most important channel firms from across the breadth of Europe – “covering everything from Svalbard to Seville, and from Tblisi to Tipperary.”

The report, produced by Channelnomics Europe Editor Sam Trendall maps the European IT Channel’s leading companies by region, in addition to highlighting a number of upstarts and one’s to watch for the future.

Agilitas CEO Shaun Lynn provides the keynote essay in the report where he highlights the challenges the industry is set to face across the continent. Shaun discusses GDPR, the changing competitive landscape, economic and political influences and changing requirements.

In his conclusion, Shaun warns that he hasn’t “ever seen an environment quite like the one we’re operating in today,” but caveats this with the point that he hasn’t ever “been as intrigued…to understand what it is that makes the channel’s elite players succeed, thrive and theorise about the future.”

Shaun is also interested to see how Agilitas’ core offering, Inventory-as-a-service fits into this matrix. By taking an Inventory-as-a-service approach with Agilitas, resellers can see IT parts expenditure reduced, and spares delivered to a two hour SLA, alongside complementing services such as field engineering, remote technical support and training.

The report has come out an exciting time for Agilitas. The company is soon to launch its fourth in a series of reports investigating the future of the IT reselling channel.
